Maternalabs provides pregnancy, breastfeeding and infant sleep tracking tools, educational content created by María Fernanda Rodríguez — cytotechnologist and certified lactation and infant sleep specialist — a conversational assistant, and a compatibility lookup for medications and other substances.
Maternalabs does not diagnose, does not prescribe, does not tell you to start or stop any treatment, and does not provide healthcare. The percentiles, ranges and notices it shows are informational references, not clinical assessments of your case.
The conversational assistant is an automated system. It is not a person, it is not a healthcare professional, and its answers may contain errors. Verify with a professional any information that will influence a health decision.
The app is not for emergencies. If you or your baby have serious symptoms — heavy bleeding, severe pain, difficulty breathing, convulsions, bluish colour, high fever in an infant under three months, or thoughts of harming yourselves — call your country's emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to accept these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your credentials confidential.
You may invite your partner or another caregiver to access your baby's data. That person can then view and add records while the invitation is active. You can revoke access at any time. You are responsible for who you grant access to.
The records, photos and notes you enter are yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display them to you within the service. You can export or delete them, including deleting your account entirely, from inside the app.
How we process your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
The courses, guides, illustrations, text, audio and app design are the property of PPL Launch Partners LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them for personal use while your subscription is active. You may not copy, redistribute, resell or publish them.
You may not use Maternalabs for unlawful purposes, attempt to access other people's data, scrape content, interfere with the service, or share your account with third parties outside of caregiver access.
The app links to Telegram groups and channels. That service is independent of Maternalabs. What other people post there is not our responsibility and does not constitute medical advice.
We aim to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may modify or discontinue features; if a change is material and affects you, we will give reasonable notice.
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PPL Launch Partners LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and its total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the preceding twelve months.
Nothing above limits liabilities that the law does not allow to be excluded, or the rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, with prior notice unless the severity of the breach prevents it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
If we change them, we will tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means accepting them.
